RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Manager IT Business Services, the IT Business Analyst & Service Management Coordinator?s role supports information systems solutions development by assisting with user requirements analysis and business systems design, support and testing.? They will also support the Manager IT Business Services by coordinating system incidents, problems and changes from the IT department and to develop documents and templates to be used by both technical and non-technical personnel across all departments.?

QUALIFICATIONS:
?

  • Completion of a degree or diploma in Computer Science, English, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • The following would be considered an asset:
    • PMI membership (or recognized Project Management body);
    • ITSMF membership (or recognized ITIL body);
    • ITIL Certification;
    • IIBA membership

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years IT Business Analysis experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an IT Department utilizing ITIL methodology
  • Experience with IT Change Management coordination
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and other documentation software
  • Exposure to MS Project, and SharePoint an asset
  • Experience with collaboration and Project Portfolio Management tools an asset
  • Knowledge of PMI?s Project Management and ITIL processes; IIBA?s Business Analysis Body of Knowledge
  • Working knowledge of text based languages for web pages (i.e. HTML), software for creating collaborative websites (i.e. wiki), and Quality & Assurance software
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Decisive and business results oriented
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Active listener
  • Strong information gathering and information organization skills
  • Strong Team orientation

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Completion of a clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check is required.

SALARY:? Group 10 (COPE Union), with a starting salary range of $4,740 to $5,689 per month.
